Computer in general and the Windows operating system in particular often display error messages regarding certain files, apps or operation. But the real problem comes when trying to decipher those cryptic sentences.
Error message windows usually contain number codes that hardly anybody can understand. We all know some error code by heart (such as the "404" for non found pages on the Web) but things start to get really complicated when Windows shows a mysterious number 32 error, for example. Do you know what to do next? What's more, can you fix it?
This is when Error Messages for Windows comes in handy: this simple app contains the complete list of Windows error codes and their correspondent meaning. You can browse the whole list or easily search it by introducing a certain error code. Plus you can also copy the error message displayed on the program's interface to the clipboard, which is very useful when you're experiencing problems with the PC and need to provide as much information as possible to the Customer Support service.
Error Messages for Windows works fine and I found it to be a really useful app. On the downside, I think the interface could be redone to a trendier appearance – it looks like one of those old Windows 98 apps.
